Facets of Life.

Mugging.

I've spent the whole of today, as well as yesterday, mugging with Jesisca(no, this is NOT a typo.), Veronica, and Thomas. Mark only joined us yesterday, and missed today's session because he said his friend came back from Indonesia and they were supposed to go out.

Yesterday's session was at Woodlands Library, and I met Mark at Woodlands MRT station at 0930 so we could go book seats. But it turned out that I made a miscalculation, because I'd assumed there'd be a huge crowd there queueing up, because the last time I went there really was one.

But the thing is, I forgot that the previous time I went was on a Sunday, so naturally all the secondary school students preparing for their 'O' Levels would be there, whereas on weekdays they'd still be at school.

Well, yesterday's session was enjoyable, as was today's. But the feeling was just different. Studying at a public library seemed loads more conducive than studying at the school's student lounge, for some strange reason.

So I spent the whole of yesterday and today explaining POM to Jes, Veron and Mark, while digressing to talk about unrelated stuff all the time. Haha, the bad side to group studying. But all in all, we did pretty well, and I must say I'm pretty impressed with myself for understanding most of the points.

Dir and LZ also came down to visit me on their way after their movie, and our dear LZ helped us take the group shots. I feel bad for saying this, but... LZ please be more civilized next time :P Don't talk like a chao ah lian please!!!

I met Jes at school today, at around 1015, and we went to the student lounge to study. Halfway through Veron came, followed by Thomas. We had a late lunch at 3, then left soon after we had finished our discussion at 4. Had a good long talk with Jes on the MRT from Clementi to Bedok, and I went home after meeting a pal.

To end it all, some pics from yesterday courtesy of Thomas' camera (as well as mine).

Left to right: Me(trying blatantly to act stupid), Jes, Mark, Thomas.

Left to right: Me(again.), Jes, Mark and Thomas.

Left to right: Jes, Mark and me. Gosh, I look hideous!

Back view of Jes and LZ. Look at the way she dressed :P

Well, that's about it for now. KUDOS TO NLB!!!

A Good Ending To A Good Beginning.

What a good way to end the last day of school. Or maybe not. We had our second accounting test today, and boy was I stumped. I could do only like half the questions inside, and barely scraped through. I'm now uberworried about my upcoming exams.

Well, that aside, we finally got to hang out with David, Jesisca, Serene, and Veronica during lunch. We had quite an enjoyable chat, and they asked us to go ice-skating tomorrow. I'd have loved to go if they had asked earlier, but well I already have something on so I had to decline their offer. Albert and Mark said they could make it though, so yeah.

Well, we all exchanged MSN addresses and are now happily chatting away. Good for us! And good luck to all for the coming exams!

Of Projects, Exams and Mugging.

Finally got around to blogging again. Been pretty busy for the last few days, trying to mug for my upcoming exams. I've almost forgotten how mentally draining it was to mug. For the past week I've been falling sound asleep in the train on my way home after mugging.

I was supposed to meet Soo Fern at 9am yesterday at Woodlands to mug at the library. But as usual she was late, and we ended up having to have a rushed breakfast and then queue up at the library gate.

It was only 9.45 when we got there, but there were already more than 50 people queueing up to go in. Talk about kiasu-ism. We were planning to go to the second floor to study, but ended up having to get a place at the cafe on the first floor. That wasn't such a bad thing, since I had a view of all the babes coming in, and I could get food and drinks any time I wanted.

I ended up mugging from 10am to about 5pm, then left with Zhang Jie and Soo Fern.

Today's class had some pretty good shiat going on. During the earlier part of class, we got back our POM project gradings, and boy did we do well. Credits should go to Soo Fern for lending me the E-Commerce notes.

And next there's Mark. He finally plucked up courage to talk to her group, and boy was it funny. The way he introduced himself was kinda lame, but with a bit of help from Albert, everything went quite smoothly. And for the rest of the lesson he was too happy to do any work. That ass :P

Alright, that should be it for now. Will update again. Meanwhile, more pics.

Comments about the project from the lecturer.

And last but not least, my idol Thomas! The Tarzan of DMSFT/15/1/C!

Alright, that's it for now. Stay tuned for more updates!

The Public Transport Menace

Of late, I've been noticing behaviourial problems of people on the buses, MRT and of course not forgetting the MRT stations. The first and most common would be losers standing on the RIGHT side of the escalators, thus blocking those who are in a real hurry to get up or down.

Like, hello? If you wanna stand on the escalator so much, please have the courtesy to at least stand on the left side, like you should. Which part of "keep left" do those faggots not understand?

And there's the "oh-there-is-a-cash-prize-of-$1million-if-I'm-the-first-to-get-off-the-MRT/bus!" losers. These people think that if they get off the bus or MRT first they're gonna get a cash prize of a million bucks. Wishful thinking, losers!

Whenever I get on the MRT at Clementi on a crowded day, losers will often choose not to move in even though there are loads of empty spaces in the middle. Why? All because they're getting off at the next stop, and they don't want anybody to beat them to getting off first.

Next up are the gan cheong kings, who are the exact opposite of the "oh-there-is-a-cash-prize-of-$1million-if-I'm-the-first-to-get-off-the-MRT/bus!" losers. They think that they can get a million bucks if they get on the MRT first. Come on! The government has spent years trying to teach you losers to "give way to alighting passengers" before boarding. How difficult can that be? And even more so since there are announcements made every 5 minutes to remind people of that.

Following that, we have the obese population. Many a time have I sat down and have a grossly obese piece of lard trying to squeeze into the seat next to me, which is like 3/4 of their butt size. The remaining 1/4 of their fats are then left to compete for space with slimmer people who fit just nice into the seat.

For goodness sakes, being as fat as you are shouldn't you be STANDING up so you can burn more calories and not get fatter than you already are? It's irritating enough that people have to endure being squashed by your fats, it's even worse that they have to endure the putrid smells that your armpits emit.
