Facets of Life.

Of Chocolates and Sore Eyes.

For the past one week my left eye has been itching like crazy, and it's hard to control my urges last night. And finally I went berserk rubbing it last night, which resulted in me waking up with a glued-shut and blood-red left eye.

I'm contemplating whether or not to visit the doctor, but since it's an on and off thing I figured it would be a waste of money to do that so I didn't. And I have this weird feeling that everything is stemming from my Hersheys Kisses dark chocolate that my mom bought.

Well, I guess I shall stop eating them anymore, since I've already finished the last one this afternoon. Hope everything goes back to normal soon.

School Politics.

Sigh. Less than a month into the start of school and I'm already having problems with my classmates. A Burmese classmate who's in my project group, to be exact. Just yesterday, Mrs Kwok told us to hand in our project and peer evaluation forms. Imagine the shock I got when I saw his appraisal of me.

He actually had the bloody gall to rate me 3 out of 5! And if it wasn't bad enough, the rating for 3 was "contributed, but needs constant pushing.". What the hell? Since when did I need CONSTANT PUSHING? If I really did everyone in the group would be dead by now, because I wouldn't have done even 50% of the report, while in actuality I did close to 90% of the report. Heck, let's not even talk about Business Comms. I did the WHOLE of the Principles of Management report. So much for "needing constant pushing". Way to go, Mr Aung Aung Kyaw.

And today after lunch, while we were trying to finish up the Business Comms project, he actually came up to us, sat down, took my newspaper that I haven't started reading and started digging his nose and snorting all over my papers. What the hell!! So uncouth and disgusting. And what a waste of 70 cents it was. Thanks again, Mr Aung Aung Kyaw. What did I do to deserve such a group mate?

On a sidenote, I saw something pretty hilarious on the MRT on my way home earlier in the evening. This middle aged man was sitting opposite me digging his nose. And the more he dug, the more high I could see him get. To end it all, here's a pic. Enjoy!

School Life.

It's been almost 2 weeks since school started, and I must say that school life is pretty boring. But, boring as it is, it certainly beats the army life of waking up at 6 and leaving at 6.45 in the morning.

School's pretty neat, SIM actually provides free breakfast and beverages, namely coffee and tea. My class is made up of approximately 130 students, the youngest being 17 and oldest around 25 or 26. And to top it all, there are like 20 babes in the class. Eye candy galore!!

The sad thing is, I haven't really made many friends. It's so damn hard to socialize in a class of 130 students, where you only see each other for 3 hours a day in class, and only 15 minutes during break - of which, 10 minutes are spent having our breakfast. But thankfully, I've found 2 great friends to hang out and do the group projects with. Well that's about it for now.
