Facets of Life.

Things to do.
Study hard for the coming exams.
Study hard for the coming exams.
Study hard for the coming exams.
Study hard for the coming exams.
Study hard for the coming exams.
Study hard for the coming exams.
Study hard for the coming exams.
Study hard for the coming exams.
Study hard for the coming exams.
Finish my remaining 840 constellations.

And those, are the ten things I have to do for the coming week or so.

Something to think about.
It passes you by like a fleeting cloud,
You try to grab it,
But it slips right through your fingers,
And slowly but surely it dissipates,
Leaving you feeling all empty inside.

A Quick Update

Just a quick update. Will be mugging for exams till 1 December. Meanwhile, a meaningful quote.

Where the heart that doth not keep within its inmost core,
Some fond remembrance hidden deep,
Of days that are no more?

Humans.
Studying organisational behaviour is really doing me some good. I think. It's human nature to want to accept praises, but at the same time reject criticism. Humans are just weird. W-E-I-R-D.

If you can make jokes about others, and praise yourself to the high heavens, why can't you just take constructive criticism? Or even jokes? Are you that petty? Oh well, I guess you are.

If you have no sense of humour, then let it be known. Don't pretend to laugh it off and get all angry about it behind my back. In the first place, if you have no sense of humour, then don't go around making crude jokes. Do not unto others what you do not want others to do unto you. Get it?

And get this straight. You started the whole thing. It's childish to ignore someone just because you cannot out-talk him. It's also a very loserish thing to do. Please, grow up. Thank you very much.

On a happier note, I went to Vivo City for the 2nd time in my life today with Anqi, Chi Xian, Jay and Yunita. Had quite a lot of fun and some pretty good food. Met up with Ying at Gap and chatted with her for a while.

Our last stop at Vivo was the Forever 21 boutique, and boy was I surprised to find Stephen's girlfriend working there. What a small world it is. More pics to come.

I wish...
I wish that I could live in a world without worries, fear, hate, anger, sadness, and any other negative emotion that a human could feel.

I wish that everyone was pure as pure could be, with not so much of an ounce of any negativity in them.

I wish that everyone could get along with everyone else without lies, deceit, hurt and anger.

I wish that Fate was kinder to everyone around me, including myself.

And finally... I wish, that you will be happy always. With or without me.

It's Emo Season.
It's totally been an emo day for everyone today, especially after what transpired last night. It was sad to see her cry so much, and there was nothing I could do to try to make her feel better.

I'm not in a better position myself but, at least, I guess I'm luckier than them. I always found it wrong to end a friendship because of something like that. The lot of us are going through similar phases.

Why do humans like to put themselves through so much hurt and pain? Especially when they know that they will get in the end. It's like standing over a pit of spikes. You know that it's going to hurt, and yet you jump in.

Is love really that blind? Or rather, can it really be called "love"? People tend to overlook the good things in front of them, and notice the not-so-good things that are way out of reach. In the end, they let go of something far more precious than the something that they wanted so much.

Sigh.

Material Girls.
Went to catch Material Girls today with Abbie, Albert, Chi Xian, David, De Shun, Jay, Mark, Sherry and Yumi. Met Yumi at Yio Chu Kang MRT station at around 1.40, then made our way to Plaza Singapura where we met the others at Times Bookshop.

We then went to the food court for lunch, where I had my usual Katsu Don, and Jay joined us shortly after. We went to the arcade after that, where I spent $6 like nobody's business playing Time Crisis 4.

Sherry came at exactly 4.20, which was when the movie was supposed to start. But with the 15 minute commercial, we were just in time. A little early, even. The show was pretty good, albeit somewhat bimbotic. But who can complain when there's Hilary Duff?!?! =D

We went for dinner after that at Raffles City Shopping Centre's Food Junction, and I had a delicious meal of Spaghetti Bolognaise topped with chicken chops. We then left for the Esplanade, stopping by at 7-11 on the way to grab some beers, whiskey and tidbits.

We spent most of the night chatting about our personal problems, and boy did it feel gooood. All of us left there feeling a little happier and destressed. Took 857 home, and was quite grossed out because there were so many foreign *AHEM*talents*AHEM*.

Looking out the bus window, I felt like I was in a Resident Evil scene or something, where all the zombies were out there. Man, you can NOT believe how many of them there were. Thank goodness I'm not a girl, or I'd have been freaked out of my mind.

Well, with that said, it's time for more pictures. I was the cameraman of the day. :)

From yesterday:
Seriously, I think Abbie has something going on with Sadako. Maybe Sadako is her role model. Gwehehe.

If you're reading this...
If you are, then I just wanna tell you that you don't have to feel guilty. You don't even have to feel bad for that matter, because everything started from me. I'm the one who brought this upon myself. If I have to blame anyone, then it would have to be myself.

Like I said before, you may not want me to wait. But, I will still wait because I think that it's worth it. Even if things don't work out in the end, I believe that we'll still be very good friends. I have never, don't, and will never hate you for this, because that would be a very immature way of thinking.

Anqi's 20th Birthday.
Anqi! This post is dedicated to you ok? See what a nice guy I am? Hahaha just kidding. Well, 9th November 2006 was Anqi's 20th birthday, and the lot of us celebrated it for her.

David was the one to actually come up with the idea of surprising her, and after some brainstorming I came up with a script for the group of us to act out. We got our Microeconomics lecturer, Ms Kong, in on the act as well. And I must say, she really is quite the actress.

Our master plan involved playing dumb and not letting Anqi know that we actually already knew that it was her birthday, and get Ms Kong to trick her group up on stage so we could bring in the cake and sing Anqi the birthday song. It was quite elaborate, and I'm pretty proud of myself for coming up with the scripts. =D

It all went pretty well, thanks to Ms Kong's superb acting. And credits also go to Andrew and Tim for diverting her attention away from Anqi's group. Pictures below.

David and I briefing Ms Kong on what to do for the day.

My script for the whole group! Ms Kong's script wasn't here, but it involved her writing the group members' names on the board, and asking to see them on the stage after class ended because there was "something wrong" with their project and that the management wanted to see them.

A very surprised Anqi.

Make a wish!

Preparing to blow out the candles.

Candles blown!

Me plucking out the candles.

"Wah why the cake so hard to cut one!"

All the hungry wolves waiting for a slice of the heavenly delicious strawberry/chocolate ice-cream cake!

And that's me helping to cut the cake. Gosh I look ugly.

???helping me with the cake cutting. It was really hard to cut.

"Can we eat yet?!?!?!" And we have De Shun and Tim trying to diss each other.

A big slice of birthday cake for the birthday girl. Topped with a chunk of dark chocolate and pink cream! Sinfully delicious.

Only 1/4 of the cake left!
