Don't Quit.
When things go wrong as they sometimes will, when the road you're trudging seems all uphill. When the funds are low and the debts are high, and you want to smile but you have to sigh. When care is pressing you down a bit - rest if you must but don't quit! Success is failure turned inside out, the silver tint of the clouds of doubt. And you never can tell how close you are, it may be near when it seems afar. So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit - it's when things go wrong that you must not quit!
Happy!
I have never felt happier ever since then. :))!! Hehehe!! I'm so happy I can't sleep!
The start of a new year.
I just got back from the countdown at the Esplanade Waterfront. Almost a total disaster. Almost, but not quite.
I met Abbie and Albert for a sumptuous dinner at Makan Sutra, which was way way way crowded. After our dinner we met up with Thomas and two of his friends, who left halfway because they felt that it was too boring.
We ran into David and gang shortly after, but again got separated because of the sudden downpour. So that left Abbie, Albert and me to wait to see the fireworks display on our own.
The wait was terrible - it was hot, humid and worst of all, there were inconsiderate nincompoops playing around with snow sprays and party poppers. Like, hello? If you wanna spray, point the stupid nozzle towards your own grubby face and spray all you want. Nobody'll stop you, yanno.
The three of us then followed the crowd to Raffles Place MRT station, where we took a suuuuper huge circle to City Hall MRT. It was there that we realized that the last train was 1.30am.
We were supposed to go for a drink and a quick bite before heading home, but Albert was worried that we would miss the last train so Abbie and I went up to Raffles City Shopping Centre. I realized that most of the places were closed already, so I decided to head home instead while she went to meet her parents.
And the best thing was... I left my wallet in her bag and forgot to take it home. Lol. What a nice way to end the day. I realize that this is a pretty pointless post, but I just had to have a post on New Year's Day. Haha.
