Today's lecture was a fun one, as was yesterday's, although the one today takes the cake any time. Our Organisational Behaviour lecturer is called Timothy Ang(he prefers it pronounced similar to "angst"), and boy was he corny.

Yumi and I were the first persons to step into the class, and halfway through before I left to meet Andrew, I saw Tim Ang talking to another classmate of mine. At first I thought he was a student or something, and didn't give it much thought.

When we came back from our lunch, however, we saw him talking to the bunch of Vietnamese girls at the front of the class. That was when I realized that he was the lecturer. We started off by deciding on our group, which was pretty fast, and proceeded to choose our project topic.

We had to write down some goals and rules for our team, so we incorporated SAF's 7 Core Values into it, with a corny twist. As for our goals, we stated that we aimed to get straight A+'s, as well as "make fun of Albert", the latter of which was cancelled by Albert before handing it up.

While we were choosing our topics, Tim made enquiries about some of the topics, and Tim Ang replied with an analogy of going up to world leaders like Thaksin, Lee Hsien Loong, as well as George Bush and saying "Fuck you". He said that Thaksin would most likely put us on a firing squad right away, Lee Hsien Loong would throw us straight into jail, but Bush wouldn't be able to do a single thing to us as long as we don't get physical. What a guy.

The rest of the lesson was accompanied by corny jokes that made everyone laugh, especially the part where he told us about his Taiwanese girlfriend inviting him to her house. She asked him if he had eaten, and being greedy, according to him, he said no. So she said, "Wo xia mian gei ni chi yao ma?", which meant "Do you want me to whip up some noodles for you?".

But, being lousy at Chinese, he misunderstood "xia mian" as below, which was a direct translation, and told her that he "didn't do those kinds of things", and got berated by her. All in all, he's an interesting lecturer, although he does have some pretty bad and disgusting habits, the most common of which is wiping the sweat off his face every 10 minutes or so, and digging his ears.
