What's so difficult about keeping it from your friends? Do you even understand the words "incentive" and "please keep it to yourselves"? Nobody cares if you want "fair competition" between you and your compatriots or whatever. Seriously, nobody does. You might not care about the 6 marks that were supposed to be given - that's your problem. Not everyone doesn't want to do well like you.
